RM 80 for 5 pic is very expensive. last time i have my 1st studio portfolio shoot only cost me RM 180 with 10 pic A5 size and 20 in CD. furthermore, they have prof to do make up and hair. just that clothes on ourselves. and i took it early of last year. dont think the price had raised that high thought.

    Kathy,

Thank you for your feedback. Price is a subjective thing, whether RM80 is very expensive or not compared to RM180, depends on the perceived value, and it certainly has nothing to do with whether it's last year's price or price rising that high.

Let me run through a few examples for everyone's benefit.

I can buy many Kancils for the price of a Ferrari.
I can buy many Bonia bags for the price of an LV bag.
I can buy 2 Mcd meals for the price of 1 Carl's Junior meal.
I can buy 3 plates of Char Koay Teow at the kopitiam for the price of 1 plate ordering room service in a hotel room.

Whether it's 10years ago or today, there will always be that price difference. Agreed?

Perhaps it's not fair to compare price that way, due to the brand value / build quality / difference in specs / different environment...

how about something closer for comparison...

    RM3.50 for a Ramly burger (RM80 for 5 pics)
RM8.50 for a McD Value Meal includes burger, fries, soft drink, proper table n chairs in air cond comfort (RM180 with 10 pic 15 size and 20 in CD + makeup and hairdo)

would you say RM3.50 for a Ramly burger is VERY EXPENSIVE when u get so much more for a RM8.50 McValue Meal?

    how about
    RM4.00 for a Fillet-O-Fish
    RM8.50 for a Fillet-O-Fish McValue Meal

would you say RM4.00 for a Fillet-O-Fish is VERY EXPENSIVE when u can get burger and fries + drinks for just RM8.50?

I bet if i offer RM180 package with everything thrown in, someone else will also come and tell me it's very expensive because they can get a no frills deal at RM80 ;)
