Portfolio building opportunity for photoshoot models

Concept: body painting

We’re updating our portfolio and need ONE female model who’d like to expand her portfolio with us on a collaborative effort project.

This is essentially a NON-PAID project suitable for those who are interested in building/expanding their portfolio.

3 sessions of experimental body-painting artwork and techniques
Each session is about 4hours.

Most of the time (estimated about 3hrs) will be taken up applying body paint / creating the artwork, with about 30 to 45mins of photographing the results for review.

1 or 2 session of body-painting + portfolio shoot
About 4 to 5 hours

These sessions will be a proper photoshoot with about 3hrs of preparation for bodypainting, and 1 to 1.5 hrs of shoot.

We will provide the following:

• attire for all sessions – tube top and white short pants
• body paint

Photos taken during the entire process (from session 1 to 4) will be compiled into an album as portfolio and will be shared with the model. model will also be paid a token sum of RM200 at the end of the last session as a token of appreciation for her contribution to the portfolio.

 
PROJECT TIMELINE (ESTIMATED)

• models submission of interest: latest by 4th April 2009
• casting begins: 6th to 13th April 2009
• session 1 begins: mid April 2009
• all sessions completed: by end May 2009

APPLICATION PROCESS

this is a three stage process

 
STAGE 1 – expression of interest

send us an email expressing your interest in this project in the following format:

• email to: photoshoot.models @ gmail.com
• subject: DLS_0904_bodypainting
• provide the following details in your email:
  1. name
  2. mobile number
  3. email address
  4. date of birth
  5. height
  6. weight
  7. vital stats
  8. top size
  9. pants size
  10. days and time available
• include ONLY 3 clear photos:
  • 1x portrait photo / headshot (compulsory)
  • 1x full body photo (standing, compulsory)
  • 1x half body OR full body photo

You will be contacted via phonecall/SMS and email if you’re short-listed for stage 2

DEADLINE: Saturday, 4th April 2009
 

STAGE 2 – CASTING, info session, and Q&A

You will be informed via email of the casting date, time, and location if you’re short-listed

As some might still be unclear what the entire project might entail, or have questions and uncertainties, we will have a brief information session regarding the project. At this point, you may choose to confirm OR withdraw your interest in participating in the project.

The remaining interested candidates will be asked to fill in our standard profile form at this stage.

STAGE 3 – CONFIRMATION

We will select only ONE model for this project. we will call/SMS you if you’re selected, followed by an email confirmation within 24hours, after which we will discuss your time availability, and the project schedule as well as other details.
